Three core disciplines, one accountable team
Everything we do on a vessel falls under one of three disciplines: technical, operations and crewing. Most owners hand us all three; some start with one and widen the scope later. Each discipline has a named lead per vessel, but they sit in one team and share one picture of the ship.
Technical management
The ship as a machine: maintenance, drydocking, surveys, class and budget.
- Planned maintenance system, kept honest by on-board attendance
- Drydock and repair specification, tendering and yard supervision. We attend in person
- Class and statutory survey planning, so nothing expires at the wrong moment
- Condition and performance monitoring: hull, machinery, fuel
- Running-cost budget, and early warning when it drifts
- Spares, stores and lubricants through fleet-scale contracts

Operations management
The ship as a business: voyage support, safety and compliance, vetting, insurance and claims.
- The safety management system under ISM, security under ISPS: audited, drilled, lived
- Vetting and inspection readiness: RightShip, SIRE-type, Port State Control
- Voyage support: routing, bunker calls, stowage and cargo-securing review
- Environmental compliance, MARPOL, EEXI and CII, managed as a trading issue
- Insurance, P&I and claims handling
- Incident investigation, with lessons actually fed back to the fleet

Crewing management
The people on board: recruitment, training, travel, payroll and retention.
- Recruitment and selection of officers and ratings, matched to vessel type and trade
- Training and certification, including type-specific needs: DP, passenger crowd control, cargo securing
- Crew changes planned around the trading pattern, not the calendar
- Payroll, allotments and full MLC compliance
- Retention work: familiar officers return to the same vessels, and it shows in the ship's condition
- Welfare and communication with families ashore
Start where it makes sense
Modules can be taken separately: crewing-only or technical-only mandates are common entry points, and the scope widens as trust builds.
