Offshore supply vessels

In offshore, the charterer sets the standard.

All vessel types

Where we put the emphasis

  • We run vessels to oil-major expectations, eCMID/OVID and their marine assurance regimes, because that is what wins fixtures.
  • DP capability decides the day rate. Trials, FMEA reviews and DP operator certification stay audit-ready at all times.
  • Between fixtures, speed matters. A vessel that can mobilise in days gets the call before one that needs weeks.
  • Offshore is cyclical. We lay vessels up properly and bring them back without a long, expensive reactivation.

Questions we typically ask

  1. 01What DP notation does she hold, and when were the last trials and FMEA review?
  2. 02Which oil majors have inspected her, and what did they find?
  3. 03What does her market expect: deck area, mud and bulk capacity, FiFi, accommodation?
  4. 04Is she working, stacked or laid up right now, and if laid up, how is she being preserved?
  5. 05What crew certification do your target charterers insist on: DP tickets, GMDSS, local content rules?
  6. 06If a fixture came in next month, how quickly could she be ready, and what would it cost?
